Here's my website that has some of my previous works. It hasn't been updated for a while, but I hope it gives you guys some ideas of past Dana. http://www.soyodana.com/index.html

I am now very interested in body movement and choreography, as well as habits and rituals both in our daily lives and in traditional culture. I will talk more about my recent interests in the future posts.
I've been having a hard time finding my meaning of art making. There are already SO MANY ARTS and ARTISTS in the world, and I don't know what I really want to say or to achieve through my artworks, and how they will contribute to the world or to others.  "Does the world need another artist?" "Is my art making just for myself or do I want others to get something out of my works?" These are the questions that have been floating in me for several years.
I do hope to reveal my emotion and memories through my works, whether it is performance or visual art, and wish the others can also open their emotion to connect each other. This is very ambiguous and general hope as an art maker, and I'm still articulating why I make art.
